Healthy Chick!

I got so much positive feedback from my energy bar recipe that I decided to make it a weekly thing! Here is my super easy super healthy super delish Chilli recipe! Feel free to add more things or substitute your favorites...this is just my way :). It is also a very affordabe meal, just make up some cornbread muffins and enjoy!

Cheap Chick Chilli

1 lb ground turkey
1 cup chopped onions
1 can diced green chilies and tomatoes(do not drain)
2 tabelspoons olive oil
1 can kidney beans
1 can black beans
1 can chili beans
2 cloves garlic
4 tablespoons chili powder (to your taste)
1 can Vegetable Broth
salt & pepper
hot sauce if desired
fresh cilantro if desired
avocado slices if desired
shredded cheese and sour cream if desired

Brown ground turkey in olive oil until brown, add onions and garlic and cook until soft. Add salt, pepper and chili powder, mix well, add chopped chilies and tomatoes, all beans, can of vegetable broth and simmer for about an hour on low. Add hot sauce to taste. Serve with sour cream, fresh cilantro, avocado slices and grated cheese.
